There are many ways to avoid bruising and we talk about those before your filler procedure. We are pretty good at this. We also have a powerful laser that can break up bruises quickly. We have not had to use the laser for this yet, knock on wood! But that option is there if we ever need it. As noted, results are immediate and can improve a little over the next couple of days. Fillers have lidocaine to reduce the discomfort of injection and we can take other measures to make the procedure more comfortable.

Some precautions need to be taken to make sure fillers do not shift so we will advise you about sleeping positions and exercise restriction for the first 24 hours after fillers are placed.
